Meet the Team
Jake Ruybal - President | Owner | Designer
With over 24 years in the events industry, Jake Ruybal brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his designs and clients. With 18 years in the concert business, he managed a few of Colorado's premier concert venues and has been the driving force and anchor of over 8,000 events in his career. Jake has been privileged to work with some of the top talent in the music business, some of the top planners in the events world and many, many clients. He loves his work, his creations and the industry wholeheartedly. With a strong background in event design, lighting, audio and logistics, he has a keen ability to see the big picture and not miss any of the small details.
Josh Haggit - Operations Manager
Josh has been working in events since 2004 mostly focusing on audio for live events, specifically live music. After moving to a production management position in 2020, Josh realized that was the path he wanted to pursue. He then moved into being the operations manager for Amora Group where he is able to draw from his years of experience in the event and entertainment industry to bring a unique perspective in solving problems and meeting the needs of our clients.
Nataya Songsap - Event Designer
Hailing from the beautiful country of Thailand, Nataya will master anything you put in front of her. She has been able to go from never working in events or design, to managing the draping and furniture departments for the Amora Group. As well as managing these departments, she is the co-owner of the company. Nataya will tackle with elegance and grace any problem you put in front of her and her ingenuity in solving problems is invaluable to the company.
Charya - Event Administrator
Charya discovered an affinity for audiovisual equipment in 2010, while working in the immersive industry of technical theatre. Since then, she has spent her time studying diverse aspects of event production and performing arts. Throughout her professional career, she has combined her "Jack of all trades," skillset into both technical and administrative roles in event production, and continues to foster this on the Amora Event Group team.
Erick Johnson - Technical Lead
Erick Johnson brings to Amora Group 8 years of experience in the production industry. With a background in film, he learned a diverse skillset with a focus on leadership, technical skill, and lighting. As Technical Lead at Amora, he continues to expand his knowledge into everything production related, with the desire to make every event the best he’s done.
Novella Medina - Event Designer
Novella is a Colorado native who earned a marketing degree from CU Boulder. In true Coloradan fashion, she thrives outdoors and will attend a concert at Red Rocks whenever possible. She is a sales representative here at Amora and is excited to learn everything she can about the event industry! She hopes to use her promotional experience to help build the Amora brand in sales and marketing. Novella values long-term relationships and is looking forward to developing solid relationships with individuals in the event industry. She’s always up for a chat, so do not hesitate to reach out!
